Galleria Carla Sozzani and the History Museum of the Photography Fratelli Alinari introduce the Walker Evans exhibition, generated by a project of the Martson Hill Edition and dedicated to one of the most important and refined photo-journalists of the first half of 1900.
The exhibition illustrates, through 100 images, books, reviews and documents, the photographic job of Walker Evans commissioned between 1935 and 1937 by the Farm Security Administration, the organism of the American government engaged in the monitoring of the economic-social situation of the rural areas of the country after the crisis of 1929.
