Fondazione Sozzani hosts Serena Pea, who presents Songül, a story inspired by the true story of a teacher, referred to by a fictitious name, who in 2014, at the age of 22, left for compulsory civil service in eastern Turkey, on the border with Syria. The photographs illustrating the story were taken from models specially created by set designer Alberto Nonnato and laid out by Guido Scarabottolo, who inaugurates the Kismet series from publisher La Grande Illusion with this first photographic book.
