What compels creatives to create?
In order to answer this question, Plās Collective’s digital platform Counter Culture turns into a collective exhibition and a series of workshops hosted by Fondazione Sozzani. Deconstruct to Reconstruct is a project ideated in collaboration with Readymade Textiles that invites four Italy-based creative studios to reveal the secret, personal side to their work: master glassblower Simone Crestani, spatial agency Fosbury Architecture, ethical plant nursery Clinica Botanica, and lighting design agency Anonima Luci.

Anonima Luci is a lighting design studio based in Milan, founded in 2018 by Alberto Saggia and Stefania Kalogeropoulos. The areas of expertise concern lighting design in all of its forms, from technical lighting, to art installations and product design. Clinica Botanica is a sustainable circular economy plant nursery that promotes only rescued plants and flowers and indigenous species. They remedy the extensive waste of pots, soil and plants from homes, companies, retail and events, and advocate for more knowledge and responsibility towards the local biodiversity. Fosbury Architecture is a Milan-based spatial agency interpreting architecture as a tool that mediates between collective and individual needs. It delves into urban strategies, reuse of existing buildings, temporary installations, exhibition design, publishing projects, curatorial activities, and educational programs. PLĀS is a Milan-based fashion brand and collective of creatives, by creatives, for creatives. They are specialized in crafting limited-edition garments and design collectibles. Simone Crestani is an artist, designer, and glassblowing master born in Marostica. The privilege of living near Venice, a glass capital, gave him the opportunity to apprentice under renowned master Massimo Lunardon. Following his passion, he opened his own ‘Atelier Crestani’ in 2010.
