Fondazione Sozzani hosts Caterina Napoleone, who presents I giochi delle Muse (The Games of the Muses), with photos by Paola Lenti and published by Corraini Edizioni.
The book is richly illustrated with over ninety images of mosaics, abstracted from time and set among scraps of fabric, revealing a technical affinity whose common denominator is the harmony of color and composition. The evocative power of the sequence of fleeting visions, sublimated by the arbitrary juxtaposition of the “stone carpets” and the modern design of Paola Lenti’s interior fabrics, reveals a universe of emotional and material interrelationships, enriched by literary suggestions in the background.
