The installation presented in this exhibition is a different voice in the week in which Milan celebrates the Salone del Mobile.
The American artist has intentionally created something that is a long way from the successful design industry. Kris Ruhs offers us Raku ceramic chairs reproducing the shapes and colours of stone: grey and white. Alongside them, a wall panel recreates a distant environment.
Kris Ruhs wishes to underline the primitive, natural, almost organic flavour of his creations, in which the human hand is used in manual production of objects for everyday use.
